Music Ministry

I grew up attending a small Baptist church in Southern Virginia. My earliest memories of church include my mother on the piano leading the congregation in the singing of hymns.

Hymns like “Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus”, “Have Thine Own Way, Lord”, “Jesus Paid It All”, “Stand Up for Jesus”, and “There is Power in the Blood” still speak to my heart today.

Even though I enjoy the contemporary praise music that often fills sanctuaries of churches, I believe that the old hymns still connect people with the heart of God and His love.
